God Intends for you to have Joy in your Circumstances!

God intends for you and I to have joy in your circumstances. But you may be asking, “How can I have joy when everything seems to be falling apart?” I think we all can relate to this. So I believe that this is what God wants to say to us through this passage. Let Him give you His joy by spending quality time with Him! Your problems will pale when you view them in the Light of His presence.

“Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign Lord is my strength; He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, He enables me to go on the heights.” ~Habakkuk 3:17-19

When everything from our perspective seems to be going wrong, we need to see that our lives are in the hands of a sovereign God and one way we can do that is by practicing rejoicing.  KNOW that God will see you through! By doing so, we can find God as our strength learning to lean on God rather then on what we see. But in order to find joy, we must practice it.

Using this analogy, God will never force us to walk with Him against our will, but He wants beautiful music to flow from our lives. He wants us to develop such a heart of love for Him that we desire to practice joy, no matter what the circumstances may be.

Whatever you may be facing, God is bigger than your trouble. So, let His joy be your strength and He will help you surmount obstacles that once would have held you down.

Have a wonderful day saying in the presence of the Lord and let Him fill you with His joy.

This is my prayer

Dear Lord, I thank you for this day. I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I’m blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you. I ask now for Your forgiveness.

Please keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of each and every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from You.

Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things.

Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over. Let me continue to see sin through God’s eyes and acknowledge it as evil. And when I sin, let me repent, and confess with my mouth my wrongdoing, and receive the forgiveness of God.

And when this world closes in on me, let me remember Jesus’ example — to slip away and find a quiet place to pray. It’s the best response when I’m pushed beyond my limits. I know that when I can’t pray, You listen to my heart. Continue to use me to do Your will.

Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me strong that I may help the weak. Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others. I pray for those who are lost and can’t find their way. I pray for those who are misjudged and misunderstood. I pray for those who don’t know You intimately. I pray for those who will delete this without sharing it with others. I pray for those who don’t believe. But I thank you that I believe.

I believe that God changes people and God changes things. I pray for all my sisters and brothers. For each and every family member in their households. I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes that they are out of debt and all their needs are met.

I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than God. Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight. I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees them and every mouth that confesses them willingly..

This is my prayer.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Keeping in Perfect Peace!

“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! Trust in the LORD always, for the LORD God, the LORD is the eternal Rock.” ~~Isaiah 26:3-4

This message is about Keeping in Perfect Peace. Some people tend to believe that peace is simply the absence of problems, valleys and trials. Not so! Peace is a calm confidence that the Lord of the mountains is still on the throne – no matter how deep the valley may be. Trials become opportunities to trust God when peace reigns in a heart. That kind of peace can only be found in God. Have a wonderful peaceful day in His presence.

Notice that I did not say we find peace in church membership, in doing good things, in giving large sums of money to a charity or ministry, or even in being a really good person. Peace is a gift. When we enter into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, we enter into true peace.

We cannot bargain for or earn peace my friends, but we will experience peace when we are willing to move away from our sin and turn to the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ. Then, and only then, will we find rest in Him. Do you long for just one minute of peace? Don’t settle. God offers a lifetime of peace if we are willing to trust Him. I know the list of trials and storms is long. I understand that the problems we deal with every single day can weigh us down; but I also know that every problem can be given to God. When we surrender the weight of our trials and pain to Him, we will experience peace. As we allow God to carry the weight of our worry, the burden of our anxiety and the penalty of every sin in our life, peace will reign and leave no room for the deadly trap of stress. Today, I pray that you will trust God and rest in Peace.
