Forever Faithful!

There are many people who are hurting in many ways. There are a lot of tough things going on in people’s lives. One common theme is a desire to see God come through. A desire to be victorious! God has a record of being faithful at least a Gazillion times. More times than we will ever be able to count. It’s hard to see His faithfulness at work in our lives at times because we see things from our perspective. We see things unfinished, full of pain, agony, often bewildered by circumstances, and just frustrated by the lack of control we have. We need to take our eyes off of the circumstances and put our eyes on the One who is in control! The One who never steps off the throne, never says He’s too busy, never calls it quits, never says He’s having a bad day, so He can’t help us. He is always there! We just have to stop and become available. Stop and listen! Stop and allow Him to work! Stop and get a new perspective on the current situation!

“Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God, the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them– the Lord, who remains faithful forever.” ~ Psalm 146:5-6

There are many people who are hurting in many ways. There are a lot of tough things going on in people’s lives. One common theme is a desire to see God come through. A desire to be victorious!

It’s hard to see His faithfulness at work in our lives at times because we see things from our perspective. We see things unfinished, full of pain, agony, often bewildered by circumstances, and just frustrated by the lack of control we have. God sees things from a better perspective. Are you willing to trade in your earthly perspective, so God can give you an eternal perspective? Things look a lot better from where He is sitting.

God can and will move the boulders in your life! Trust Him with the details! Sure during our battles it is always tough to see how God will be faithful, but that is why it is so important to look at His track record. David looked back and rejoiced in God’s faithfulness. He saw how God rescued him. How has God rescued you? Find time to rejoice in God’s record of faithfulness in your life. The more you concentrate on how faithful God has been, the more you will trust Him to be faithful with your current situation. He’s got this!  He really does! He won’t fail you! He won’t let you down!

Have a wonderfully blessed day.  Please won’t you share this blog and I pray it will encourage someone or many in the Lord!  God bless you!  Please visit me on Facebook too!

Great is God’s Faithfulness!

The Scriptures abound with declarations that God is faithful. Since we live in a world that is constantly changing and face many disappointments along the way, it is reassuring to be reminded of the faithfulness of God. One definition of the word faithful is “worthy of trust,” and this is certainly applicable to God because He has repeatedly proven that His word is sure and that He can be trusted.

“Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.” ~~Lamentations 3:23

The Apostle Paul reminds us that God cannot lie. Because He is holy it is impossible for Him to declare anything but truth or make any promise that will not be kept. It may seem to us at times that God has forgotten us. David experienced such a doubt but then admitted he had spoken in haste. We must remember that God works on His own timetable and just because we do not see immediate evidence of His promise being fulfilled it does not mean He has forsaken us.

No matter how bleak your future may appear you can be assured that God’s promise is certain when He says, “I will never leave thee nor forsake thee.” In spite of your sufferings and trials you can have confidence that He will be with you and even use the difficulties to teach you and draw you closer to Him.

Because of God’s faithfulness you can have bright expectations. He will not let anything separate you from Him.  He is keeping you by His power. Having begun a good work in you, He will not abandon it but will bring it to consummation so that one day you will be safe home to live with Him forever.
