“Blessed is the Man who Remains Steadfast under Trial!”

We are all going through the battle of our life, my friends. No one is exempt from the sufferings of this world. Whatever you are facing, there is always hope when you belong to Christ. There will be a time for your trial to end; and if you have held out in faith to the end, you will be rewarded in this life and the next.

“Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.” ~ James 1:12

Why does God allow us to go through heartache and pain? It is only  in the crucible that we gain an eternal perspective of the power of the God we serve. It is there that we see that Christ does meet us in every trial causing it all to work according to his perfect plan. It is there  that we are strengthened as  he draws us near to him.

Believers who can praise Christ through the pain and keep their eyes on him no matter what storm surrounds them are proven to be the true sons and daughters  of the King. Remember the words of God in Isaiah 26:3, “You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you because he trusts in you.” That is a promise from God.

I am praying for those who need to hear this message. May you know that your tears are not in vain. You still have hope regardless of what you are facing. This world is perishing and yet those who belong to Christ shall never be destroyed. Let him work out your problem restore your peace.  Don’t settle for the lies of the enemy. You were meant for more!

Obey God!

Obedience to God is the heartbeat of Jesus. He learned and modeled obedience, and suffering was the development in which His obedience grew. The best lessons we learn seem to come out of suffering. Anyone can obey when it is easy, but in the fire of adversity and pain, our obedience is put to the test. Will we obey even when it hurts, even when it costs us dearly, even when we don’t want to, even when we are uncertain of the outcome? Obedience’s tests unmask our motives; untested obedience may just be the result of convenience.

“Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him…~ Hebrews 5:8-9

So, be prepared to obey, just because you know it is the right thing to do, when no one else but God will ever know. He is watching to see if we will obey Him when no one else knows.  Jesus knows from first-hand experience that obedience is what makes us more like Him. We experience Him in our acts of obedience; He assures us in our obedience; He loves us in our obedience; He empowers us in our obedience; God shows up in the middle of our obedience. It is so important to Him, that He makes it a priority to bless our obedience. His blessing may not be recognized immediately. It may take months or years before we enjoy the fruit of our obedience.

Turn the blunders into blessings in your life, and open your eyes to the possibilities.

Today you need to place our faith in God today, and ask Him to direct each step you take, and to give you the wisdom, strength, and faith to hope for great things. Trust that as you submit all things to Him, He will take each experience and create good things from them. Turn the blunders into blessings in your life, and open your eyes to the possibilities. “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.” Isaiah 48:17

Allow your heart to seek the good things in this life and trust that, even the blunders can be turned into blessings. Submit all things to God in prayer, knowing that He hears and is responding. Regardless of the situation, you will witness Him skillfully weaving each experience into something beautiful and good. Dare to trust and place your faith in Him.

When you feel as if you are backed against a wall, have the courage to trust in His strength. When you feel confused and alone, don’t be afraid to hope for better days, placing complete confidence in God, rather than your circumstance. Let go of the mindset, the situations have to be handled “your way”; allow God to order your steps, and then walk in them. Know in your heart He loves you and longs to gather you in His arms. His ways are perfect and flawless. He will be your defender; you will always find a safe haven in Him.

God is so good in our lives. He gives us everything we need, and more than we could ask for. But it does not stop there. We have to trust Him in our life. He teaches us to know what is the best for us so we can live a healthy, godly lifestyle. He knows what is the best for us. Let us open our hearts to Him everyday, believing in His promises, keeping His commands, setting our eyes into worship. Let’s continue to have this lifestyle. And as we experience His love in our life, we are moving into higher heights, into a new level of understanding, having a renewed mind and pure heart before God. Let’s commit ourselves to God.
