Encouragement

God is faithful and He’ll fulfill every promise He’s made. There’s no disease God cannot heal (Jeremiah 30:17), no heart He cannot mend (Psalm 147:3), no bondage He cannot break (Galatians 5:1), no enemy He cannot defeat (Psalm 138:7), no mountain He cannot move (Micah 1:4), and no need He cannot meet (2 Corinthians 9:8).

He’s a good God and you CAN trust Him!

It matters!

It matters!

I don’t know about you, of whom many may be agnostic or maybe think you are an atheist, but I know as for me…

If I put all my faith in the Word of God and stand firm in my beliefs and find out one day there is no eternal life, then I’m okay with that, because I would hate to put my faith in me alone or worse in this crazy world and the things of this world, and find out later heaven is real … well, you really have no recourse then. Plus you have missed a peaceful life.

I truly believe we all are born with a space inside that can only be filled by God. In order to really know for yourself, you must come with an honest heart. So please think about what I have said. You have nothing to lose but you have everything to gain. No one who has genuinely chosen Jesus has ever regretted it. Think about it. Ask God to open your vision to see He is real. He is faithful and He will let you know! Just simply believe and ask!

Joshua 21:45
“Not one word of all the good promises that the LORD had made to the house of Israel had failed; all came to pass.”

Matthew 21:22
“And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

The Bible says that it is foolish not to believe in God. “The fool has said in his heart, ‘There is no God’ ” (Psalm 14:1; 53:1).

Something deep in our hearts knows that there is a God who loves us and cares for us. When we deny that knowledge and refuse to believe in God, we are acting foolishly. The Bible says, “Without faith it is impossible to please Him [God], for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him” (Hebrews 11:6). If we seek Him, will we find Him? Yes. God says, “You will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13).

The greatest evidence that God exists is the transformed lives of the men and women who have searched for Him and have found Him and have invited Him into their hearts. This experience has convinced them beyond any doubt that God lives and that He lives in their lives each day. For those who have not yet asked God into their heart, God has a special invitation—and a special promise: “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him” (Revelation 3:20).

Nothing is a surprise to God

Wherever God leads He provides. What God initiates He completes. His part is provision and your part is trust. Don’t fall into the trap of trusting Him with some things and not trusting Him with others. Distrust in God is distasteful and insulting to His integrity. How can God not be big enough to handle any situation? God can be trusted because He is trustworthy. The well of His salvation is infinitely deep. You have limited capacity to bear burdens. However, His character and resources are unlimited. Without the support of a sympathetic Jesus, you will be immobilized even crushed, under the weight of worry. Jesus understands and is saddened when you do not yoke up with His support.

There is no need to root around and search for answers when He already has it figured out. There is no need to sacrifice your health with worry and overwork when He offers peace and options you have yet to discover. There is no need to rush through life and then ask Him to bless your efforts after the fact. He can be trusted to lead you even before you put a prayerful plan into motion. Trust in God does not mean you act irresponsibly and seek forgiveness later. Trust in God means you patiently walk with Him in your decisions and choices. Slow down, look up, trust Him, and watch Him reap extraordinary results. Partial trust leads to frustration and worry.

“Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.” With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. ~~ Isaiah 12:2-3

Finding rest!

God is our shelter, a refuge our protector who will carry us through all the dangers and fears of life. This needs to be our picture of trust, trading all our fears for faith in Him, no matter what the storm we’re going through.

Finding Rest in the Shadow of the Almighty!

“Those who live in the shelter of the most high will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91:1

The spiritual and mental storms which we have to face at times in our lives can be brutal and devastating! They are just as much a reality and can leave us feeling totally helpless and wondering how we can possibly make it through the day! This is when we need someone or something to cling to which can give us reassurance! This is when the only One who can give to us this assurance is our heavenly Father!

There are many things which can create these storms which come into our lives! The death of a loved one, financial disasters, divorce… when the one you thought you could depend on walks out on you, and a myriad of other things which can destroy your happiness and your well being!

How sad it is for those who do not have God to turn to! No one to comfort them or give them the assurance they so desperately need! But praise God! He is there waiting for us to call out to Him and run into His arms!

Read Psalm 91 anytime you are facing a storm in your life! He is our refuge. He will deliver us because we have put our trust in Him! He will cover us with His feathers and under His wings we shall trust! We shall not be afraid of whatever threatens us for we have made the Lord, even the Most High, our shelter! He shall give His angels charge over us to keep us in all our ways! (Through the storms which come!) We shall call upon Him and He will answer us! O what wonderful promises we are given here in this 91st Psalm! So put your trust in God my friends! He is with you and He will bring you through your storm! O Hallelujah!

Have a wonderful day in His presence finding rest in His shadow. Love you all in Christ.

Wait quietly…Hope lives within us!

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!!!

I just wanted to share this message with you as I know we are ALL waiting on the Lord for something right now. I want to encourage you to….
Wait quietly before God for our Hope is in Him!

“Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken. My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me. O my people, trust in him at all times. Pour out your heart to him, for God is our refuge.” Psalm 62:5-8

We too, like David then can wait quietly before God when we put our hope, and our very life, in the Lord’s hands. We can’t trust in human nature because it is no more secure than a breath. We can’t put our hope in riches because wealth will not save us. Our hope, confidence, and trust need to be solely in the Lord Almighty. If, like David, we are waiting for God to act when we are in the midst of trouble, we can wait frantically or impatiently. But to wait quietly in hope takes a deep confidence in knowing the One we are waiting for. He will never disappoint us.

Have you ever felt like David? Surrounded on every side by troubles, feeling like you need a refuge in the middle of an angry storm? Then do what David did: “Wait quietly before God”. Place all your hope in Him, He is in control no matter how out of control you may feel. When you recognize that, then you can wait patiently as he works through the situation. No matter what comes your way, God is your rock, your salvation, your fortress where you will not be shaken. Run to His fortress and wait there. You can trust him to care for you, no matter how fierce the storm may be.

Your story…

You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed” ~ Psalm 139:16.

Did you know that all of your days have already been written? God has already recorded every part of your life from the beginning to the end. He knows every disappointment, every loss and every challenge. The good news is that even though you’ve had some challenges, even though you’ve faced some setbacks, your story ends in victory. Your final chapter concludes with you fulfilling your God-given destiny and experiencing His eternal restoration.

Any time we face a disappointment in life or go through a loss, we have to remember there’s another chapter in front of us. We can’t stop on that page, we have to keep moving forward. Instead of focusing on what didn’t work out, focus on the future. Let go of the past and press forward because your story ends in victory, and God will restore everything that has been stolen from you!

Needing strength today?

Do you need your strength renewed today? The scripture tells us that when we hope in the Lord, that’s exactly what will happen—our strength will be renewed. Today, find strength by simply putting your hope in the Lord. Start by declaring out loud, “God, I place my hope in You. I trust that You are working behind the scenes in my life. I choose to rest in You.” As you renew your mind with the Word of God, you’ll find strength, you’ll find hope, and you’ll find His victory all the days of your life!

In your life, what do you see?

Do you see the giants of opposition or the promises of God? Jesus said, “If you believe, you will see the glory of God” (John 11:40). But, if you don’t believe, you won’t see His glory. You will simply follow in the faithless footsteps of the children of Israel. You will find yourself wandering in the wilderness, when you could have been enjoying the Promised Land. You and I can choose to walk by faith. We can choose a different spirit–one that believes God in spite of the negative circumstances around us. Remember, nothing is too difficult for Him. The God who can part the Red Sea, rain bread down from heaven, and bring water out of a rock, that same God can do miracles in your life IF, you will only believe, trust Him and follow Him fully.

God leads

God doesn’t just lead us out of trials but sometimes he leads us into trials. A trial is a difficult circumstance allowed by God to transform my conduct and my character.
Resistance escalates before victory arrives. You cannot take things getting worse as a sign God is not working.

Remember Moses, the Israelites and Pharoah’s army and the Red Sea? God was very specific to tell Moses where to go. God led them to a dead end! But what happened? He saved them and justice was served. God always wins! We are on God’s team too! So no matter what resistance you are receiving today and no matter if it looks like a dead end, God is working! Trust Him!
