This verse reminds us that with God all things are possible. When we ask for God’s help, we dedicate our endeavor to Him. We admit that in our strength this would not be possible but we proclaim that God can accomplish anything through someone who is willing. We put God’s courage into our heart with His truth. Keep your eyes on the Lord every day and not on your circumstances. I pray that you will start to learn how to walk in faith and stand on the promises of God speaking God’s Word to the liar and deceiver, Satan.
“Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.'” Mark 10:27
Never doubt that God is in control. He has a plan and a purpose for your life. He wants you to walk in faith and praise Him instead of giving up on His mighty power. He wants you to learn some very important lessons during your spiritual journey in your wilderness as you are headed to your promised land. In His timing He will restore whatever you’re going through and make you stronger than ever before.
Yes, I know that life is not always easy or fair. I understand about mountains of circumstances. What are you going to do, we need to go to the Lord, praying, choosing to praise the Lord and believing that nothing is impossible for Him and He can delivery you so He can get all the glory, honor and praise.
Join with me and let’s pray to have our faith increased knowing that nothing is too hard for God. But as you face your circumstances, I challenge you to throw off the spirit of heaviness and depression, but choose to praise the Lord in the darkest hours of your night. Let us all shout to the Lord praising Him for His greatness, His holiness, His faithfulness and for His amazing love for His children.
Will you worship and praise your Lord today and everyday? Will you walk in faith instead of fear of the unknown? The enemy likes to put fear upon each of us as we look at the mountain of circumstances that we each face. Whatever mountain are you facing? Will you join me praying and believing in the power of your Lord God to move the mountain of your circumstances as you walk closer to your Lord Jesus Christ? (Mark 11:22-25)
Whatever is overwhelming you in your life right now has a purpose to bring you closer to God. The winds of trouble and the storms of your life must all submit to the will of God for you. Our battle will never be stronger than the refuge and strength of your God! The bible tells us, “Weeping may remain for a night, but joy comes in the morning”. (Psalm 30:5) That means that every painful struggle has a timing for it to end. And it is only then that you will understand the power of God whose love for you never failed.
“Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life.” (Psalm 138:7)
Have you ever been in a painful trial in life , which made you feel like you were all alone? The storms you face in this world can sometimes make you feel isolated and without hope. And, although well-meaning friends want to help you, there often is little that they can do. You really want to believe that God is with you in that battle, but that may be hard to do when the enemy surrounds you on all sides! When you come to these lonely places, it is then that you must take all thoughts captive to the truth of the promises of Christ!
All of the battles that you face as a believer are fought on holy ground because the power of God is with you. You are in the company of the army of heavenly forces who know well how to deal with the enemy. You are never left to fight alone. As David understood that God was giving him his victory, so must you know that you are a conqueror against all that comes against you. You must never let your situation cause you to be anxious. Worry is nothing but the whispers of lies from a defeated enemy! Satan wants you to make you feel alone and hopeless so that he can get a foothold into your mind. Don’t give him access.
The truth is all the force that you need to defeat your feelings of hopelessness. Your financial struggles, marriage problems, health issues, addictions or heartaches are all under the power of a Sovereign God who knows how to take you safely through them.
It is the lonely places that put you next to the heart of your God. For it is when you have nowhere else to turn that you realize that God’s power was all that you ever needed. Jesus paid the price so that those who believed would be made more than a conqueror in all the battles of this world.
When we are faced with the possibility of having to deal with very troubling situations, the Lord wants us to come to Him as He has a list of some of the resources in Christ that could protect us from discouragement and despair. As we meditate on these heavenly resources, our feelings of panic will begin to subside, and our sense of hope began to spring forth.
“When trouble strikes, don’t get frustrated with God, instead admit you need God’s help and thank Him for being by your side. “The good man does not escape all troubles–he has them too. But the Lord helps him in each and every one.” Psalm 34:19
The first thing we need to be reminded of is that in troubling times, we will have God’s presence. Jesus said, “Be sure of this–that I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20) Our Savior is not a fair-weather friend. Even in our darkest times, He will be there for us. He is always available to listen to whatever we have to say, and we can always count on Him for help. When even our closest loved ones turn their backs on us, the Lord speaks to our hearts and says: “I will not abandon you or leave you as orphans in the storm—I will come to you.” (John 14:18)
God’s power is also available to us in difficult times. The apostle Paul prayed “that you may be invigorated and strengthened with all power according to the might of His glory, [to exercise] every kind of endurance and patience (perseverance and forbearance) with joy.” (Colossians 1:11 AMP) We can pray this same Holy-Spirit-inspired prayer, knowing that God has promised to answer every petition that is in line with His will. (1John 5:14-15) It was Paul who declared, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13) When you and I make the same faith-filled declaration, we will experience the same divine power that sustained this great man of God in the darkest of times.
We also have the privilege of prayer in times of adversity. Jesus said: “When you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” (Matthew 6:6) Don’t miss what the Savior is saying here—that there are great rewards for prayer. Some of those rewards may be divine peace, joy, and contentment, right in the midst of painful circumstances. Other rewards can include seeing God move mightily on our behalf in ways that we don’t expect. But perhaps the best reward of all will be witnessing Gos causing all of our problems to work for good in amazing ways. (Romans 8:28)
There are times our hearts are filled with anxiety and worry, and we can’t find any peace. The stress and struggle of daily living clouds our souls, and we find ourselves losing sight of God and His plan for our life. When that happens, many times we find ourselves drawing away from God and retreating inside ourselves. But that’s not where God wants us to be. I hope this message will minister to you when your heart is filled with anxiety, worry and you can’t find any peace.
“Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me, and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and led me along the path of everlasting life.” Psalm 139:23-24
It’s very important to open up to God, even in the midst of our pain and confusion. His Spirit reveals the darkness of our souls, and when we see what lies inside of us, we can confess it to Him, and He has promised to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Once we face what God is revealing to us, we can move forward into His grace and love, and discover His peace, the peace that passes understanding. Opening up to God is a frightening thing to do, but He already knows what lies inside us. Nothing we ever think, feel or do is hidden from Him, and to try to hide it from Him or deny our feelings is a bit ridiculous and shortsighted. He created each one of us and He knows everything we’ve ever done and ever will do….and you know what? He loves us anyway!
We can trust Him to bring healing and peace into our lives when we allow Him to search our hearts…He has promised to lead us in the way everlasting, and He keeps His promises. Open yourself up to Him today – it’s hard, but it’s not a risk, because He loves you and has promised to forgive you.
