It’s not easy…

The scripture below is an excerpt from a letter that was written by the apostle Paul to the church in Philippi. He talks about being content in the midst of bad situations. In fact, a lot of the letters he wrote were written from a jail cell. My friends, let us consider what was transpiring. From within an extremely negative environment, was being produced some of the most positive and significant writings known to mankind. This is an excellent example of good in a bad situation. 


“I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.” Philippians 4:12 

It’s not easy to find the good in a bad situation.What we must remember is, that things could always be worse. It’s in those moments of adversity, that we find out how closely we walk with and rely on God. 

Sometimes God will allow these situations to occur to point us back to Him, or even show us a life lesson we would have ordinarily missed. These are the times when we must trust God. The feeling of not having enough or even panic may come, but we must remember that those are just emotions. We should not be led by our emotions, but allow our faith to steer us.

Trouble will come and problems will arise, but we must always remember to rely on our God. He loves us and is with us. He promised that He would never leave us even in the midst of trouble. No matter how bad it gets, there is a rainbow in the midst of it. My friends, be encouraged today and know that things will get better. Remember your footsteps are being ordered by the Lord.

  2. Please prosy please please pray for me I have no driver’s license no insurance I’m 55 years old I’m disabled Its me and my 3 Furbabies dogs are fixing to travel soon as my car is fixed. Trying to get to a safe destination I’ve got tickets and stuff I need to pay because I’ve been living in my car and on a fixed income it’s hard to do so I came to Alabama to help sit with an older man who has Alzheimer’s disease disease whom I love old people ended up being nice job a pervert they wrecked my car the tile shop this week I’ve been to Hell really hell God is kept me sane I don’t know why I’m going through all this but I have a safe place to go to finally I finally I think of maybe a place to call home so long ways from here Austin Texas I’m praying for Mercy travels I’m praying for safety for me and my little dogs and for my car to be ok in the name of Jesus I need help I need a miracle have no money I have no nothing my SSI check will not get me there please help me in the name of Jesus please pray for me God thank you for Mercy you think you for Grace thank you for loving me when I couldn’t love myself but please send your guardian angels please send your angels of protection father God thank you for favoring the mighty name of Jesus Lord God thank you for this woman who put this before me today so I can ask for prayer bless her and everything she says does and thinks and feels in the mighty name of Jesus thank you thank you
