We are never going to be able to wait for the promises of God in our own strength. Instead, we must learn to rely upon the Holy Spirit. When we allow God’s spirit to dwell within us, we can wait patiently for the hope that is to come. It is hard to have faith that God can do the impossible when your world is crumbling in around you and nothing is going according to plan. Nonetheless, if you are going to be all that God desires you to be, you must remember to allow God to be first in your life.
“But we who live by the Spirit eagerly wait to receive by faith the righteousness God has promised to us.” Galatians 5:5
We must understand that when things are darkest, that is when God desires to allow HIS light to shine through us. We must understand that when things appear to be impossible, that is when God desires to show HIMSELF strong in our lives. It is not about us and our own strength, it is about HIM and what HE can do through those who are willing to wait patiently on HIM.
What is the impossible situation that you face? Does things keep appearing to get worse and worse? Focus upon the Lord and what HE desires you to do. Remember it is not your righteousness. Listen to the voice of God and set your attention on things above. Once you understand who HE is, then you can be in a position where God can do the impossible through you, and do not attempt to take matters into your own hands, you will only make things worse. Instead, understand that waiting is just a part of God’s plan for your life and that the more difficult the situation appears, the more God will receive the glory.
You will never be able to patiently wait on the Lord in your own strength. Instead, you will need to lean on the everlasting arms of God. Accepting God’s perfect plan for your life will not be easy. But that is exactly what God desires you to do. God has a great plan for your life. However, you will not be all that you can be for Him as long as you continue to waste your time pursuing the things of your flesh. Stop wasting your time on yourself and instead, fill your time with the things of God so that HE might receive the glory for the good things HE desires to do through you.
Have a wonderful day as you remain in His presence. Love you all.
