With God….all things are possible!

Image

When we ask for God’s help, we dedicate our endeavor to Him. We admit that in our strength this would not be possible but we proclaim that God can accomplish anything through someone who is willing. We put God’s courage into our heart with His truth. We retrain our minds by taking the words “I can’t” out of our vocabulary.

“Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.'” ~~~ Mark 10:27

Do your circumstances seem impossible? Are you battling discouragement or fear of your unknown future? Keep your eyes on the Lord every day and not on your circumstances. I pray that you will start to learn how to walk in faith and stand on the promises of God speaking God’s Word to the liar and deceiver, Satan.

Never doubt that God is in control. He has a plan and a purpose for your life. He wants you to walk in faith and praise Him instead of giving up on His mighty power. He wants you to learn some very important lessons during your spiritual journey in your wilderness as you are headed to your promised land. In His timing He will restore whatever you’re going through and make you stronger than ever before.

Yes, I know that life is not always easy or fair. I understand about mountains of circumstances. What are you going to do? we need to go to the Lord, praying, choosing to praise the Lord and believing that nothing is impossible for Him and He can delivery you so He can get all the glory, honor and praise.

Will you worship and praise your Lord today and everyday? Will you walk in faith instead of fear of the unknown? The enemy likes to put fear upon each of us as we look at the mountain of circumstances that we each face. What bad report are you dreading? Do not fear bad news, but choose to trust in the Lord.

To Everything there is a Season!

Image

In our lives, there are seasons. Nothing here is forever; Heaven is eternal. Solomon stated this principle very simply,”To everything there is a season; a time for every purpose under Heaven . . and He has made everything beautiful in its time.” See Ecclesiastes 3:11. When God directs your life it has a rhythm, and you are at your best when you understand and live according to that rhythm. Your efforts are most effective and you are happiest when you walk in step with God, not lagging behind nor rushing ahead. The best preventive for either of those is simply walking hand in hand.

There are times that things will happen that you never wanted or planned; don’t panic! Sometimes, things don’t happen that you thought would; adjust. Sometimes they don’t happen the way you intended; adapt. Occasionally, things don’t happen as soon as you expected; trust God’s timing. When things aren’t working the way you were sure they would, there are two options to consider. It could be the wrong thing at the right time; that never works out well. Or possibly the right thing but at the wrong time; that results in something less than God’s highest and best. Here’s the issue: can you trust God’s wisdom and providence to give you what you need exactly when best for you, even if not what and when you wanted? God’s best will only come in God’s time.

Don’t double your efforts to force your agenda at the risk of pressing against God’s will. If God were to allow you to succeed, you will wish you hadn’t. Stop; seek God; listen to your heart, and use your head! You should always want God’s best and trust His timing. At all times in all situations, be confident of the “good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:1-2. You and I tend to live by the clock and calendar. God is timeless and His purposes are eternal. “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” Galatians 6:9. His wisdom is infinite and His loving care unquestionable.

Live in Faith!

There is such Hope in these words. Live, not because of what we have achieved or even because of our failures, but live because of faith in Jesus. Remember our lives are not limited because of any earthly circumstance.

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;  and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” ~ John 11:25-26

Every day is an opportunity to begin again. If yesterday was the pits (for whatever reason), today you can start again. You can turn in a new direction. You can view a problem or your present circumstances with a new perspective. You can even lay the burden down into the hands of our Savior. If the burden you carry is heavy and destructive, it is for God to carry because He said His burdens are light (Matthew 11:30).

There will be pain and suffering in this life. Those are characteristics of this world. Whether disease, mudslides, terrible random accidents and crimes, this world is a place where suffering permeates the lives of us all. Without the knowledge and faith in God’s promises, we would be overwhelmed and beaten down by the pain in so many lives. This does not mean that we understand the “why’s” of it all nor do I have a definitive answer as to God’s plan in all of it. What I do know is that God is here in all circumstances and He is faithful to hold and comfort me and carry me through every day.

An abundant life is one filled with God’s grace and mercy, freeing us from the prison of our sins and allowing us to joyfully follow Christ’s example to serve God’s children and magnify God so we may all know Him better. What do you believe? Have faith in Jesus Christ and LIVE an abundant life!

God Will Never Let Go of You!

Image

My loving God, my fortress, my stronghold, my deliverer, my shield, in whom I take refuge, who subdues, under me, those who are hostile against me. Don’t you love how many times that David makes this verse so personal? He was able to do this because of His personal relationship with a covenant keeping God?

“He is my loving God and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield, in whom I take refuge, who subdues peoples under me.” ~ Psalm 144:2

First of all, the Psalmist describes God as a loving God, a God who cares, a God who wants the best for you, a God who will never let go of you, a God who wants to bless you with all that He can muster.

God wants you to know His peace, His protection, His provision and His power. He wants you to know Him as your Deliverer and the One who is your all Sufficient One. The Bible says in Psalm 54:7. “You have delivered me from all my troubles, and my eyes have looked in triumph on my foes.” Once again, we see another Divine promise from God to not only be your Deliverer, but also give you complete victory over your foes, while showing Himself strong on your behalf.

My friends, our passage for today is taken from the latter part of King David’s life in which He testifies to the faithfulness and awesome power of God. This same God who subdued David’s enemies, who delivered him from all his troubles and gave him one magnificent victory after another, will do the same for you.

Are You Really Enjoying Life?

I was led to this powerful message for everyone to really mediate on about If you are really enjoying Life. Seriously, take a moment right now, think, and honestly answer this question, are you enjoying your life? I am not asking you if everything is perfect in your life, since that will never be the case. We will always have things that we are facing, battles to fight, challenges to overcome, that is simply part of living in this sin-filled and fallen world we are passing through. But today I want you to take some time and reflect and tell me whether you are enjoying your life or not.

Image

“I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” ~ John 10:10

If the Lord asked you if are you enjoying your life? How would you answer Him. Without any hesitation I would tell the Lord that yes, I was really enjoying my life. Despite the problems and trials we all have to face in our life, despite the never-ending challenges, the bottom line is I look forward to each day and truly enjoy my life. You see, God wants us to enjoy our life. After all, the Bible tells us that He came to give us life and LIFE MORE ABUNDANTLY!

Here is the key and the message I want you to hear today. No matter what your trials may be, no matter what your challenges may be, no matter what your battles may be, you can still enjoy your life and embrace the promise that Jesus came to not just give us life, but life more abundantly! That means despite the hurts and pains you may be experiencing today, you can still enjoy your life and the abundance Christ promised you.

I know you’re probably asking me how you can enjoy your life when you are going through a divorce, or dealing with a major health crisis, or in bondage to some addiction, or have serious financial problems, or children who are living in rebellion to God, or need a job, or a myriad of things that may be going on in your life today. The answer is your relationship with Christ! Because of HIM, you can face all of the problems that are out there and still enjoy your life.

I want to encourage you today that if you are not enjoying your life, it is time to START! The fact is today is the only day you are certain of, tomorrow is promised to none of us. Each day we wake up is a gift from God and we need to treat it as such. No matter what we may have to face during the day, we have to never forget if you’re a born-again believer that Christ is living within us, we have His strength, can live in His victory, and that is why we can go through the day with that peace that passes all human understanding and unspeakable joy.

The Lord Longs to be Gracious to You!

Nothing tries our faith like waiting on God for answers to prayer. Waiting tests our submission to Him as our trustworthy Authority. Waiting is not necessarily resignation from all activity; it is submission to God’s better idea. Waiting on God means that all of our life is brought under God’s umbrella of authority and direction. If we run ahead of God, we will be painfully chastened by turmoil, exhaustion, and failure. God speaks to us and gives us hope and that hope is what enables us to wait on Him. God does not want just our minds to wait upon HIM but also our souls. We must lay down our own ambitions in order to receive the promises of God.

“I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I put my hope. My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.”`~  Psalm 130:56.
Maybe you find yourself in Gods waiting room today. Maybe it is a new place for you, or maybe it is a room you have spent a lot of time in, just waiting.  Waiting to see the One who has the authority and the power to fix your problems, grant your wishes, answer your prayers, heal your hurts, ease your heartaches, fill you with peace and make your dreams come true.

Waiting requires trusting that God knows, even when we are feeling impatient. Again if this where you find yourself today. Let your mind wander…..about the hope that can be found through Him; the trust that you can place in Him because He holds the answers to all things; the peace that surpasses understanding; the excitement that you will feel once you can see how God has been sitting right beside you in the waiting room all along; and most importantly, to the perfect timing of His answer when it does finally come.

“How long, Lord?”

In this Psalm David  says how long 4 times in the first two verses, indicating the depth of his distress. He expressed his feelings to God and found strength. through prayer we can express our feelings and talk our problems out with God. He helps us regain the right perspective, and this gives us peace.

“O Lord, how long will you forget me? Forever? How long will you look the other way? ~ Psalm 13:1

“How long, Lord?” Have you ever felt this way? “How long must my trial continue?” You are not alone. God’s people have always struggled with this feeling of God’s distance. But it’s precisely at these times that you need to cry out to God, not just moan to yourself (or others). Why is it God feels sometimes so far away? Imagine God keeps on helping you in everything. Will you still have faith. Faith is believing without seeing. Beware that you maybe going through a test of faith to see if you will hold on. If our parents take care of us closely forever, do you think we will mature, learn on our own. God is doing the same. He is letting us fall, so we know we need Him and so that we will mature. it’s like, instead of being spoon fed like a baby, we will learn how to eat on our own. This is what David said in this situation, he still trusts in God and rejoices in his salvation. Always trust in God even when you don’t get a reply, even when your world is crashing and rejoice. For we know that all things work together for good to those we love him, to those who are the called according to his purpose.(Romans 8:28)
