We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.~Romans 8:28
Pressure is normal, but stress is not. Pressure accompanies normal responsibilities such as providing for your family, taking your business to a new level and raising your kids well-but it can turn to stress if you think that you have to carry all of these responsibilities on your own.
God did not design you to handle life’s pressures without Him. If you embrace God’s strength and ability to help you, you can smile and continue to praise Him through any kind of pressure, knowing that the result will be a growth in capacity and ability. The Message version of Romans 5:3-5 says “We continue to shout our praise even when we’re hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next [emphasis mine].”
Develop a strong positive pressure within yourself by staying focused on how good, faithful, reliable and ever-ready to help God is. When we go through difficult situations with a hopeful expectancy that God is looking out for our best interests, we are “never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary–we can’t round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit!” (Romans 5:3-5)
